Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that the enthusiasm of sisters towards Mukhyamantri Ladli Bahna Yojana is praiseworthy. This is a very important scheme from perspective of sisters. The departmental officer and the chief administrative officer posted at the district level should ensure that the procedures related to the scheme are completed in a timely manner.

Chouhan was getting information about necessary preparations related to the implementation of Mukhyamantri Ladli Bahna Yojana in the Manthan room of Samatva Bhavan on Wednesday.

Departmental officers including Chief Secretary Iqbal Singh Bains were present.

It was informed that the work related to e-KYC of eligible sisters is being completed to provide benefits of Mukhyamantri Ladli Bahna Yojana. Work has gained momentum in the districts. Mandsaur, Ujjain, Rajgarh, Balaghat and Indore are among the top 5 districts of the state in this work.

It is notable that Chouhan has formally inaugurated the Chief Minister Ladli Bahna Yojana on 5th March.

The work of filling the applications will start from March 25 under the scheme.

From coming June 10, eligible sisters will start getting Rs.1000 per month.

The process has been simplified to take advantage of the scheme, so that women do not face difficulty in filling the application.

For filling the application, formal proceedings will be completed in the ward and village itself.

People’s representatives, administrative staff and social workers will co-operate in the implementation of the scheme by playing an active role in the interest of the sisters.
