In Mumbai, the humble Vada Pav is a popular meal. Have you ever considered how it may be enhanced to be presented as an upscale dish? A Dubai restaurant has done just that by introducing a gold-encrusted Vada Pav.

O’Pao, a restaurant in Karama and Al Quoz, claims to have the world’s first 22-karat Vada Pav, which is loaded with truffle butter and cheese. It comes with sweet potato fries and a glass of sweet lemonade.

The Restaurant has increased the price of the basic potato patty to AED 99 after it was decorated with gold leaves (approximately Rs.1,970). Vada Pav is exclusively offered for dine-in.

O’Pao’s Instagram account released a promotional video of the meal, which shows it being presented in an attractive wooden box that, when opened, reveals the package with a white smoke.

The restaurant’s Instagram page claims to provide “sliders with an Indian twist.”

A restaurant in Dubai introduced a gold burger a few years ago, which included 24 karats of genuine, edible gold. It’s made with fresh tomatoes, lettuce, and melted cheese, but it’s also imbued with richness, according to the eatery.
