Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has pleasant described the adequate rainfall in the state.

The Chief Minister said that by the grace of Lord Mahakal, there has been sufficient rainfall in the state, there is sufficient water in the ponds and dams and the power generation is improving.

At some places, excessive rainfall has caused inconvenience. Three people stranded in Ujjain have been taken to safe places by helicopter.

In a discussion with media representatives at Ravindra Bhawan, Chief Minister Chouhan said that he virtually reviewed the rain situation and its impact from his residence at 1 o’clock in the night.

There was water logging at many places in Khargone, Khandwa, Barwani, Dhar and Indore districts, but now the situation is improving.

The amount of water being released from the dams has reduced.

The weather is also opening now. Rain has been of great benefit, but has also caused some inconvenience. Citizens should not worry, relief amount will be made available after conducting a survey of the damage caused by heavy rains.
