Madhya Pradesh ex-Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said I will rather die than ask for myself from the party therefore did not went to Delhi.

I am ready to carry whatever task the party gives to me, he said.

He was addressing a press conference in Bhopal.

Chouhan hoped MP will achieve new heights under the leadership of new Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav.

The four time chief minister resigned from his post after election of Yadav by the newly elected legislators in a meeting held on Monday.

He said I am confident that under the leadership of CM Mohan Yadav.

He hoped Yadav will complete the ongoing projects in the State.

Chouhan said I am satisfied with the majority the BJP got in the general assembly polls held last month.

I am happy and satisfied while leaving today, he said.

When a person is self-centred, he thinks about himself, he said.

The BJP is a mission, there is some work for every worker, he said.

Chouhan said I am confident that the new BJP government under Dr. Mohan Yadav’s leadership will complete the ongoing development works at a rapid speed.

I will always support them, he said.

In Madhya Pradesh the BJP formed government with blessings of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the hard work of party workers as well as the welfare schemes of the state government and the Centre, especially the State government’s `Ladli Behna’ Yojana, he confidently said.

Under the Ladli Behna Yojana Rs 1,250 is given to the women from financially weaker sections every month by the State government.

Under the BJP rule since 2003 in Madhya Pradesh, the state has achieved all-round development.

The condition of roads, power supply has improved and agriculture growth is enhanced, he said.

Farmers and women empowerment was never been a means of getting votes for self, Chouhan said.
