New Delhi: The plan to promote digital transaction has taken a big setback. Actually, the use of cash in the country has reached the level of demonetization. Now the government is preparing to re-promote digital payments. The planning of the government may hurt the common man. According to sources in the IT Ministry, the government is planning to make use of cash expensive. Under this effort, the government will make it difficult to withdraw cash from the bank. At the same time, the ATM is also preparing to reduce free transactions. According to sources, more cash transactions will be expensive and those who have digital transactions will be given preference. In fact, the IT Ministry has given some such important recommendations to the Finance Ministry.

Cash counters will be reduced in banks
If the use of cash is expensive to increase digital payments, then the public will have the most damage to it. Under this attempt, it will be difficult to remove the cash from the government as well as the cash counter of the banks can be reduced. Reduction of cash counters has also been recommended. There is also a plan to reduce the free transactions in government ATMs.

Bank employees to get incentives
The IT Ministry has given important recommendations to the Finance Ministry, in which the bank personnel promoting digital transaction will be given incentives. Retailers will also get incentives to take digital payments. Retailers are recommended to give POS machine free.

Tax will be linked to cash
It has also been recommended to link the cash with tax. Under which the cash will be allowed in accordance with the tax paid. This will make the trader compelled to pay tax. Now the emphasis will be on digital payment for government transactions. It has also been recommended to set up a board to promote cashless transactions.
