Union for Surface Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari has said that Madhya Pradesh will be the first state in the country to produce green hydrogen. The state has performed well in the energy sector. Madhya Pradesh is marching on towards prosperity and development. The surface connectivity has changed the scenario.

Nitin Gadkari said that the construction of Indore to Hyderabad highway is going on at a cost of Rs. 18 thousand crore. Two tunnels and three viaducts will be constructed in 34 kilometers between Indore and Khandwa on the route to Hyderabad via Khandwa, Khargone, Burhanpur, Ichhapur, Jalgaon and Nanded.

Through this route, one can reach Omkareshwar from Indore in one hour and from Indore to Burhanpur in two hours.

The work for Khandwa bypass from Deshgaon to Sudhi will start in October. Orders have been given to submit the feasibility report from Sudhi to Tular Phata.

Union Minister Gadkari was addressing a public meeting in Khandwa.

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, State Forest Minister Kunwar Vijay Shah, Water Resources Minister Tulsi Silavat, Culture Minister Usha Thakur, MP V.D. Sharma, Dnyaneshwar Patil, Shankar Lalwani, former minister Archana Chitnis and other public representatives were present.

Gadkari said that the welfare of villages, poor and labourers is the top priority. Madhya Pradesh has been leading in the field of agriculture by winning Krishi Karman Award seven times. This achievement has been possible under the leadership of Chouhan. Villages have become prosperous. Once known as Bimaru, Madhya Pradesh has been a developing state.

Gadkari said that the farmers must get remunerative prices for his crop. They will also become the energy provider. The process of making ethanol from broken rice, maize, jowar, sugarcane juice and molasses has started in the country. Ethanol is being used as fuel in Spice Jet and Vistara planes.

Similarly, scooters from Bajaj, TVS and Hero companies which run on 100 percent bio-ethanol are also coming. Farmers will get Rs. 16 lakh crore which is spent on the import of petrol, diesel and fossil fuel with the use of bio ethanol as fuel.

The Union Minister said that smart villages will be developed. Under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi, Chief Minister Chouhan has made 44 lakh houses available.

Madhya Pradesh is becoming a power station of development. In order to make Madhya Pradesh a prosperous, welfare activities will continue for the poor, labourers, farmers, exploited, oppressed, Dalits, tribals and forest dwellers and in the coming time we will get to see a new Madhya Pradesh.

Farmers should not worry: CM Chouhan

The Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that world class roads have been made available to the entire country including the state. The previous government did not pay attention to roads, water and electricity. Our government has planned and connected 80 percent of the state’s farms with irrigation facilities. Irrigation is being done not only by canals but also by pipes. Jawar Micro Lift Scheme, Chhaigaon-Makhan, Khalwa Micro Lift have important role in enhancing the irrigation facility of the area. Soon the foundation stone of Rs 1385 crore 73 lakh Jhirnya scheme and Bhoomi Pujan of Rs 3 thousand 715 crore Morand-Ganjal project will be performed.

Chouhan said that in Burhanpur, relief amount was made available to the farmers at the rate of two lakh rupees per hectare during the crisis facing banana crop. Under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Modi, the state government will do everything to drive away miseries.

The Chief Minister said that Khandwa district is the power hub of the country. Electricity is being generated from water, coal and Sun. Loan waiver to the farmers, assistance and guidance to the youth for employment, providing many facilities to the students is continuously paving the way for their progress. Those who have not got house under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana in the state, will be provided housing facility under the Mukhyamantri Jan Awas Yojana. The aim of our government is to change the life of the poor. Madhya Pradesh should progress continuously with the double engine government and India should become a world leader under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi.
