The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will soon release the Class 12 evaluation criteria. Following the announcement of the marking criteria, the Class 12 results might be released soon. However, no official notification has been made by the Board in this regard.

CBSE formed a 12-member high-level committee for the evaluation formula on June 4th. Although the panel was supposed to present its findings in 10 days, or by June 14, according to reports, the committee then requested an extension.

At the school level, NEP-2020 focuses on developing young learners’ problem-solving and critical thinking skills. As a result, teachers will need to take on the role of mentors and encourage these young kids in their quest for innovation and entrepreneurship, announced by an official.

CBSE, on the other side, has signed an MoU with AICTE to motivate, train, and involve school children and teachers in different skill enhancement projects. AICTE is now conducting various projects for its Engineering and Technology students and staff.

Furthermore, CBSE and the National Council of Applied Economic Research (NCEAR) have signed an MoU for a project on Skilling in Schools. Following the National Education Policy 2020, NCEAR will conduct a two-phase research study to provide relevant suggestions on how to implement skilling in schools.

The ‘Innovation Ambassador Program’ was created by CBSE in partnership with the Innovation Cell, AICTE, Ministry of Education, to help teachers improve their mentoring skills. In which connected school teachers will receive training in the following five modules:

  1. Innovation & Design Thinking
  2. Idea generation and ideal guidance
  3. Rights to Intellectual Property
  4. Development of a product or prototype
  5. Finance, sales, and human resources
