Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said the children of poor, lower middle class and middle class families must have access to quality education and the best schools in the country. They have talent and immense capabilities and theerefore must get opportunities for good education in their vicinity. With this objective, the state government conceptualized the CM Rise School.

Chouhan said that all efforts will be done for execution of the new education policy introduced by the Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. The state government is always with the students to help them continue study. Chouhan was addressing ground breaking ceremony of the CM Rise Government Mahatma Gandhi Higher Secondary School building to be constructed at a cost of Rs 81 crore 12 lakh at BHEL (Barkheda) Bhopal.

The Chief Minister transferred Rs 207 crore to the accounts of 4 lakh 60 thousand students for purchasing bicycles and interacted with the students. Students from all the districts of the state joined the programme virtually.

The Chief Minister welcomed the students attending the programme by showering flowers and after Kanya Pujan inaugurated the programme. Good education is cornerstone of life

The Chief Minister said that good education is the cornerstone life. There was a time when there were no buildings for schools. Our government has ensured better schooling facilities. As a result of this, buildings of primary, middle, secondary and higher secondary schools have been constructed. The CM Rise School was planned in consultation with subject experts and educationists.

All CM Rise Schools to be constructed in the state will have arrangements for smart classes, library, laboratory, playground, sports facilities as well as swimming pool. The State Government is determined to providing the best education facilities to children of poor families.

4 thousand 500 rupees released per student for cycle

Chouhan said that the state government has made arrangements to provide mid-day meals to students, bicycles for boys and girls, laptops on securing 75 percent marks in class twelve. This initiative will enable children go to school. The students securing first division in 12th class in their respective schools will be given e-scooty on 23rd of this month.

Chouhan said Rs. 1000 per month is being given to Ladli Bahana. Students who want to study medical, engineering, IIM, law and want to go to international institutions for higher studies, their fees will be reimbursed by the state government. Arrangements have also been made to conduct medical and engineering studies in Hindi. No student will be deprived of higher education due to paucity of funds. He said that students will take the state and the country forward.

School Education Minister Inder Singh Parmar said that CM Rise School will make the dreams of poor, lower middle class and middle class children come true by providing them opportunities to study in well-equipped schools. Under the leadership of Chief Minister Shri Chouhan, Madhya Pradesh is making continuous progress in the field of education and soon we will be among the leading states. Shri Chouhan gave token checks of the amount for bicycles to two students each of the districts of Bhopal division.

The CM Rise School will have 118 classrooms, 15 labs, 2 libraries, 8 lane athlete track and Olympic size swimming pool. The school will have 450 seater auditorium, two libraries, 2 rooms for dance and music, 300 seater dining hall, canteen, multipurpose hall for indoor sports like basketball and badminton, 400 meter 8 lane athlete track, football ground and half Olympic size swimming pool.
