Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said Shivam you need not worry, your sister will get married with great pomp. And today when this opportunity came, Shivam had tears of joy in his eyes.

Chouhan on Friday sent a financial assistance of two lakh rupees as per his promise for the marriage of sister of Shivam who was injured in the Khargone riots at Nisarpur in Dhar district. Carrying this help Collector Dhar Shri Priyank Mishra and CEO of Khargone District Panchayat Sushri Jyoti Sharma reached the wedding ceremony.

Chouhan sent two lakh rupees as a gift along with his best wishes on the marriage of Sushri Kritika. Dhar Collector Priyank Mishra attended the marriage and presented a cheque to the bride Kritika. It is noteworthy that Kritika was to be married last summer. At that time Kritika’s brother Shivam was seriously injured in the fracas in Khargone. He was seriously injured on the head by a stone thrown by a rioter, for which he was treated for several days in a hospital in Indore. Because of this the marriage was postponed.

With the sensitivity of Chouhan, Shivam got complete treatment at the expense of the government. He returned home after recovering. On the instructions of the Chief Minister, Indore Commissioner Dr. Pawan Sharma personally monitored the treatment. CM Chouhan had also discussed with Shivam several times through video calls.

At that time CM Chouhan had given assurance of help in marriage. Khargone Collector Shrikumar Purushottam told that as per the instructions of Chief Minister Chouhan, CEO District Panchayat Khargone Sushri Jyoti Sharma was sent to Nisarpur on behalf of the administration. The staff of Dhar administration also reached Nisarpur and participated in the marriage of Sushri Kritika. Everyone gave best wishes to the newly married couple for a happy future. Shivam says that all this is like a new life and a gift of Mama Shivraj’s kindness.
