Minister for Water Resources, Fisheries Development and Fishermen’s Welfare, Tulsiram Silavat handed over the award symbolically to the Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, while giving information about the national award received by the Madhya Pradesh Fisheries Federation from the central government.
Chief Minister Chouhan congratulated Minister and Chairman Madhya Pradesh Fisheries Federation Tulsiram Silavat, Fisheries Federation, Fishermen Society and fishermen on this achievement. Principal Secretary Fisheries Kalpana Shrivastava, Managing Director of the Federation Purushottam Dhiman, Director Shri Bharat Singh and other officers were present.
It may be mentioned here that on November 22, the National Fisheries Development Board Hyderabad honored the Madhya Pradesh Fisheries Federation with a prize money of Rs 5 lakh and a citation at a function in the Union Territory of Daman.
