Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister thanked PM Narendra Modi and Union Minister Nitin Gadkari for approval of various road routes construction and upgradation and reconstruction of NH-43 works in Chhatarpur and Panna districts.

Chouhan said under the Bharatmala project for approving the construction work of ₹ 2234.671 crore of Atal Progress-Way from Jhundpura to Maithana, Maithana to Kuretha in Morena and NH-43 upgradation and reconstruction work in Chhatarpur and Panna districts.

This construction work worth thousands of crores will give a new impetus to the development of the state and will play a leading role in strengthening the participation of Madhya Pradesh in self-reliant and developed India, Chouhan said.

Niting Gadkari informed through tweet that upgradation and reconstruction of existing intermediate lane to 2-lane with paved shoulder from Barna river to Ken river section on Gulganj-Amanganj-Powai-Katni road on NH-43 in Chhatarpur and Panna districts of Madhya Pradesh on EPC mode 2022- Under the 23 Annual Plan, approval has been given with a cost of Rs 315.55 crore.

Further, under the Bharatmala project in Madhya Pradesh, the construction work of 4-lane access controlled greenfield Atal Progress-Way (Chambal Expressway) from Maithana village to Kuretha village in Morena district under Hybrid Annuity Mode (Package-VI) is approved for cost of Rs 944.801 crore, Gadkari informed.

Construction of 4-Lane Access Controlled Greenfield Atal Progress-Way (Chambal Expressway) from Jhundpura village to Maithana village (Package-V) in Morena district under Bharatmala Project in Madhya Pradesh under hybrid annuity mode at a cost of Rs 1289.87 crore. Approved with cost, he added.
