The Mahila Police Station Guna acting promptly on the complaint has arrested the rape accused within two hours.

Superintendent of Police Pankaj Srivastava has instructed the subordinates for speedy and strict action in crimes against women and girls in the district.

In line with this instruction, the Mahila Police Station took immediate steps to arrest the accused.

It is noteworthy that on November 12, 2022, a young woman had lodged a report at the Mahila police station against a man of raped her on several occasions on pretext of marriage, the police said.

Whenever she asked to marry, the accused kept avoiding her, on 07 November 2022, the accused performed marriage to another girl.

On the complaint, a case was registered against the accused in the mahila police station Guna and took it into consideration.

Under the guidance of CSP Guna Shweta Gupta, Sub-Inspector Jyoti Rajput and her team actively engaged in the hunt of the accused in the case and in search of which intensive raids were conducted in several places.

As a result of which the team arrested the accused in the case on the night same day.
