Madhya Pradesh Home Minister Dr. Narottam Mishra said the official teaser of ‘Adipurush’ contains several objectionable scenes that slander faith of Hindu religion and hurts religious sentiments.

He said ‘I am writing a letter to the producer-director of the film Om Raut ji on this issue’.

Even after this, if the objectionable scenes are not removed, then the legal side will be considered’, Mishra told the local reporters in Bhopal on Tuesday.

He said the way Lord Hanuman is shown worn in leather apparel in the official teaser of ‘Adipurush’ movie released is highly objectionable.

Mishra said ‘I have seen the teaser and it has objectionable scenes’.

He said ‘I do not understand even today why the god and goddesses of Hindu religion are made soft target and portrait in such a manner by some film directors’.

‘While they do not dare to make out such treatment for other religion’, he said.

In Hindu religion, the apparel of each deity is mentioned in the ancient religious texts so there is no doubt of apparel worn by a particular deity, he said.
