A six-year-old nephew of local Congress leader Vijendra Singh Chauhan from Mhow was allegedly abducted and killed by his distant cousins on Sunday evening.

The kidnappers reportedly demanded Rs 4 crore ransom from the father of deceased boy Jitendra Singh Chauhan.

Jitendra is younger brother of local Congress leader Vijendra Singh Chauhan.

With the help of CCTV footage Indore police identified Hritik Chauhan (20) one of the accused with whom the boy is spotted.

On interrogation Hritik revealed of carrying the act with his cousin Vikas Chauhan (23). The duo were arrested by the police where Vikas was arrested from a hotel in Omkareshwar.
