The State government is determined to exterminate the land mafia from Madhya Pradesh. On the instructions of Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, taking strict action in all the districts, the administration has freed more than 23000 acres of encroached government land from land mafia in the year 2022.

Now, to fulfill the Chief Minister’s dream of writing a new chapter of good governance on this land, “Suraaj Colonies” will be set up for the poor homeless families. It has also started from Neelbad area of Bhopal.

The goons, miscreants and mafia are scared of the strict action being taken by Chief Minister Chouhan in the public interest across the state. Strict decisions are being taken for public welfare. More than 23000 acres of land worth more than Rs 15000 crore freed from the encroachment of land mafia will be used by the government to provide houses to the poor homeless people. “Suraaj Colonies” will be established on these for the poor.

Due to the strong will of the government, valuable land worth crores of rupees has not only been freed from the land mafia, but it has also given relief to the public from the terror of the land mafia.

On Tuesday this week, more than 11 acres of government land worth more than Rs 60 crore was made encroachment free from land mafia Yogesh Thakkar on Mangrul Road in Khargone.

In the year 2022 itself, 2.5 acres of land worth Rs 13 crore was freed from habitual offender Abdul Razzaq under Police Station Barela in Jabalpur and 40 acres of government land of Madhotal pond worth Rs 280 crore were freed from the land mafia in Madhotal area of Jabalpur.

Four acres of government land worth Rs 13 crore in Bellary village of Mandsaur was freed from the possession of absconding accused Amjad Lalla and Rustam’s father Sher Bahadur of Sitamau. 20 bighas of government land was made encroachment free from the possession of Kashmiri Jats of Guna.

Similarly, 2.53 acres of forest land was freed from the possession of criminal Nabu Khan of Bagli police station in Dewas. 5 acres of government land worth more than 1.25 crore was freed from the possession of Suresh Chaurasia, district banishment land mafia of Singrauli.

On December 18, Chief Minister Chouhan performed Bhumi Pujan for construction of Suraaj Colony on 40 acres of land in Kalkheda village of Neelbad area to provide housing to the homeless poor people on the land freed from land mafia, the state government press note of December 30, 2022 said.

In Kalkheda, 40 acres of land with a market value of Rs 100 crore was freed from the unauthorized occupation of land mafia Israr Khan, Pratap Rajvansh, Shyam Sironia.
