In Madhya Pradesh, the Bharatiya Janata Party is going to resort to caste politics. It seems as if the government’s minister Babulal Gaur has given instructions to disclose the caste as his surname is Yadav. Gaur also announced to follow the instructions of the party organization.
During the meeting of the party’s state president Prabhat Jha, the minister requested him to write a memo with his name and his daughter-in-law. His reasoning behind this was that writing a note does not make sense, which is what goes on.

While discussing with some journalists, Gaur admits that the state’s state president and national organization Maha Ramlal has directed him to write Yadav in front of his name. He has also decided on the organization’s instructions that now he and his daughter-in-law, who is the Ex Mayor of Municipal Corporation Bhopal, will write Yadav with their names.

Gaur has further said that he is Yadav but people do not know his caste, so now they will add Yadav in their own name. They do not think that writing caste with name is bad.

When the BJP organization instructed Gaur to write Yadav with his name, Congress attacked. Leader of the Opposition in the Assembly Ajay Singh has termed the step of promoting caste politics in the state.
