Ravindra Jadeja, Team India’s all-rounder, offered a sneak peek at the Indian cricket team’s next World Test Championship final vs New Zealand, which will take place in Southampton from June 18-22, 2021.

Jadeja shared the sweater from India’s throwback Test costume, which was exclusively made for the WTC final, on Twitter. The sweater features a blue V-neck border, which was popular in Test cricket until the 1990s.

This is India’s second retro jersey set, but the first for Test cricket. In limited-overs matches in Australia and a home series against England, Team India wore the 1992 World Cup uniform.

Before flying for the United Kingdom, Jadeja and the rest of the Indian squad are now quarantined in Mumbai.

After sustaining an injury during the third Test against Australia, Jadeja will play his first match for India. He made a brilliant comeback for CSK in the IPL 2021 and will be fired up for the WTC final and five-test series against England.

“A draw or a tie will see both sides hailed as equal victors…”, according to the worldwide body’s playing criteria. The ICC has also set aside a Reserve Day to make up for any missed time during the normal days of the Final, which is expected to take place from June 18 to 22, with the Reserve Day on June 23.

“Both of these judgments were decided prior to the start of the ICC World Test Championship in June 2018.” The Reserve Day was planned to enable five full days of play, and it will only be utilised if lost playing time cannot be made up through the standard arrangements for each day.

After all of the playing and non-playing members return three negative RT-PCR findings, the Indian camp, which is now serving an eight-day strict quarantine in Mumbai, is set to fly out on June 2.
