Medical Education Minister Vishwas Kailash Sarang on Monday reviewed the script conversion work of MBBS II, III and IV year books in Hindi Medical Cell ‘Mandar’ at Gandhi Medical College.

Giving information about the work process in the meeting, it was told that the help of AI will also be taken to speed up the work of translation. Technical words of the course will be marked with the software and their dictionary will be prepared.

Operators will also be given special training for the software. On this, Minister Shri Sarang gave instructions to verify the dictionary prepared from the software, so that there is no possibility of mistake.

He also instructed to prepare all the process timeline including translation, verification, proof reading and complete it by September 15.

Virtual communication with the translation team

Minister Sarang directed to keep the process simple. This should not create any kind of confusion. Praising the Hindi Medical Cell Mandar, Minister Sarang said that we started from scratch. Medical education in Hindi is being appreciated all over the country. This is the result of tireless hard work of the entire team. During this, Minister Sarang directed for a virtual dialogue with medical teachers and coordinators of government medical colleges engaged in transliteration of medical courses.

Establishment of IT cell for monitoring

It was told in the meeting that this is the first time that with the help of software, a dashboard of translation and progress of work will also be made.

On this, Minister Sarang gave instructions to set up an IT cell for the Hindi Medical Cell, Mandar, so that the entire process could be monitored.

He also gave instructions to simplify the entire process without complicating it.

Help of private medical colleges will also be taken

Minister Sarang suggested taking the help of private medical colleges along with expanding the team to complete the work within the stipulated time. Director Medical Education Dr. Arun Kumar Srivastava, Dean of Gandhi Medical College Dr. Arvind Rai, Superintendent of Hamidia Hospital Dr. Ashish Gohia and members of Hindi Medical Cell were present in the meeting.
