Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that a center should be developed to study the effectiveness of schemes and programmes being implemented in the state. Experts from universities and development institutes should be associated for practical assessment of effectiveness. In the light of Pradhan Mantri Vishwakarma Kaushal Samman Yojana, a road map should be prepared for the upgradation and skill development of artisans in Madhya Pradesh.

Chouhan was addressing the fourth meeting of the Madhya Pradesh Rajya NITI Aayog. Chief Secretary Iqbal Singh Bains, Vice President of Atal Bihari Vajpayee Institute of Good Governance Prof. Sachin Chaturvedi, Additional Chief Secretary Finance Ajit Kesari and other officers were present in the meeting held at Mantralaya.

Booklet focused on the progress of the state should be published

Chouhan said that a large number of people in the state depend on fisheries. Therefore, the work related to development of center of excellence in PPP mode on Madhya Pradesh fisheries policy and fisheries activities should be completed within the time-limit. Janseva Mitras are doing good work in the state. Their activities should be expanded. 

Chouhan gave instructions to identify the best practices of other states according to the conditions and needs of Madhya Pradesh and implement them. He said that the schemes and programmes which have been effective in changing the lives of people in other states should be studied and the possibilities of their implementation in the state should be considered. 

A booklet focused on the progress of Madhya Pradesh should also be published, with this the people of the state will be able to get factual information about the changes in the social, economic and infrastructure of the state in the last decades.

Activities continue in International Connect for employment

It was informed that in view of the better work done in the aspirational districts of the state, an amount of more than Rs 71 crores has been provided by the NITI Aayog to the state government.

In this, Chhatarpur has received the maximum amount of Rs 14 crore 70 lakh.

The aspirational development block model of the state has also been studied by NITI Aayog. Activities are going on in the state to improve the data sector. 

Looking at the immense possibilities in the nursing sector in Germany and Ireland, the State Policy Commission is in touch with the embassies of the respective countries under the International Connect for employment. Various administrative issues related to the State Policy Commission were discussed and approved in the meeting.
