Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that the three organs of governance, the Legislature, the Executive and the Judiciary are like a family. It is the duty of all of us to best serve the public.

Even if a peon does good service, he is respected like a chief minister. Work for people in such a way, with a healthy spirit, that people shower you with blessings.

He on Sunday inaugurated a new administrative cluster building constructed at a cost of Rs.27 crore 16 lakh near Kothi Bhawan in Ujjain. Earlier, he planted saplings of Jamun, Pomegranate and Tulsi at Sankul Bhawan complex.

He said the administrative complex building is quality based. Additional budget will be made available for equipping it with necessary furniture etc. With many government offices in the same building, the public will not have to wander to get their work done.

He said Madhya Pradesh government has implemented Public Service Guarantee Act in the state for timely redressal of public grievances.

The government is making efforts to ensure that people do not have to take the trouble to visit government offices for solution to their problems and for their works.

They should be able to get their work done from the comfort of their home. The government is providing many services to the citizens on the mobile itself.

Chief Minister Chouhan said Madhya Pradesh leads in the implementation of many schemes in the country.

Madhya Pradesh tops in the schemes including Cleanliness campaign, Swamitva Yojana, Street Vendor Scheme, Pradhan Mantri Awas. The growth rate of Madhya Pradesh at the current market price is the highest in India at 19.7 percent.

The share of Madhya Pradesh in GDP has increased to 4.6 percent. The per capita annual income has now become Rs one lakh 23 thousand. As per NSA survey, Madhya Pradesh has come from 17th place in the country to 5th place in the field of education.

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that Ujjain is a city of devotion, knowledge, action, education, sacrifice, service, Vairagya (detachment). Samrat Vikramaditya was world-renowned for his capable administration and justice.

The name of this new administrative complex building will be Samrat Vikramaditya Prashasanik Sankul. Kothi Palace will be developed as a heritage building.

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that Ujjain is developing in every field. Ujjain is also ahead in the field of industry. Today, the virtual foundation stone of Amul Dairy plant in Ujjain was laid by the Union Home and Cooperatives Minister Shri Amit Shah. Ujjain will also have to come forward in the field of cleanliness. Active efforts should be made in this regard.

Chief Minister Chouhan said that now I am also the thele wala Mama. I go out with a handcart to collect toys and other materials for Anganwadi children.

Let us all take a pledge to not let any child remain malnourished in the coming one year. Everyone will make their full contribution for Anganwadis.

On auspicious occasions like birthdays, marriage anniversaries, we should visit Anganwadis and distribute milk, fruits to children.

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that today I planted a sapling before inaugurating the administrative complex. Protecting the environment is our collective responsibility. We all will plant maximum number of trees, to save the earth.

Chief Minister Chouhan also appealed to the public to save electricity. He said that if we do not waste electricity, we can save electricity worth Rs. 4 thousand crores.

Finance and Commercial Taxes Minister Jagdish Deora, Higher Education Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, MP Anil Firojia, Dr. Satyanarayan Jatia, MLA and former Minister Paras Jain, Bahadur Singh Chouhan were present in the programme.
