The shops selling meat illegally in Ujjain were reportedly demolished by the administration today.

Also similar action was taken in Bhopal were houses of three accused persons who attacked the BJP worker were demolished for the houses were constructed encroaching on the land.

The accused identified as Bilal, Aslam and Farukh Raeen were reportedly razed down.

The main accused in the case is Raeen while other two persons are co-accused of attack on BJP worker Devendra Thakur and cut his palm on the day the assembly polls results were announced for Bhopal central seat.

The administration cracked down on the ten shops selling meat illegally in Nagjhiri area of Ujjain.

The action was based on Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav orders to the administration to take necessary action against the shops selling meat in open, the officials said.

Raeen was arrested along with four others in the case and is charged for attempt to murder.

As many 13 cases are registered against the accused including the action under the provisions of the National Security Act,.

A local BJP leader Alok Sharma of Bhopal staged a protest over the incident at the Police Commissioner Office along with party workers and demanded action against the miscreants.

Before this he staged a protest outside Shahjehanabad police station over an attack on a party worker on Regiment Road.

In Neemuch today the district adminstration took action against the shops selling meat, fish and eggs in open. This action was based on the instructions of the Chief Minister Yadav to stop open sale of meat.

The team of officials from local body took action against the shops near the private bus stand of the city, the meat and fish shop built by the municipality, that were lying vacant was cleaned by removing the garbage and bushes.
