Higher Education Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that admissions will start from May 25 for the academic session 2023-24 in more than 1304 government and private colleges related to higher education in the state. The admission process will consist of one main stage and three CLC rounds. The admission process will be completely online through epravesh.mponline.gov.in. Students are not required to go to the college for verification of their documents. This year, the e-verification process is also being started for admission to post graduation. The applicants availing the surcharge will also be verified online by the help centre.

Higher Education Minister Dr. Yadav said that a guide is being issued for e-admission. 1200 professors and computer operators have been given offline training from the Academy of Administration to make the admission process student friendly and for smooth operation. Trained professors are imparting training to other staff of the college as master trainers. Along with this, after discussing with the professors of non-government colleges and kiosk operators of MP Online about admission at the college level, they were informed about admission.

Dr. Yadav told that this year efforts have been made to make the admission process more simple and student friendly. In case of error, students will be able to make corrections from the help center of the former college by depositing the fee online and will be able to process the verification by selecting the option again. On cancellation of admission during the admission process, the admission fee amount will be transferred back to the account. Entrance festivals will be organized in all colleges to welcome new students. There will also be guiding lectures for the students.

The Higher Education Minister informed that from this year online e-verification process will start for admission to 2 lakh 13 thousand PG seats. On the basis of enrollment, the data of the students related to the government universities of the state will be received directly on the portal. In this process, the verification of documents will be easy. Students from outside the state or from other educational institutions, whose data is not available on MPOnline, only they will upload their documents. Students will also enter the ID of the scholarship awarded at the secondary level while registering. A student will be able to do choice filling for a maximum of 15 colleges. Girl students will be exempted from registration fee.

Incentive amount of Rs 25 thousand to Ladli Lakshmi, exemption in tuition fee

State Government Minister Dr. Yadav said that this year, an incentive amount of Rs 25 thousand will be given to Ladli Lakshmi girls for taking admission in graduation in two equal installments. The education fee of Ladli Lakshmi girls will be borne by the Higher Education Department.

Private universities will also share admission data

The Higher Education Minister said that from this year about 45 private universities will also open admission in Madhya Pradesh. Private universities will share information of students on the portal mppurc.mponline.gov.in created by the Regulatory Commission. The portal has been launched by the commission. Presently all the universities are preparing the profile. The necessary information related to the university, details of placements, courses, seats etc. will be there in the profile. Data for scholarship from the portal will automatically be available to the concerned department. Higher Education Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav was discussing with media representatives today.
