Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that Sirvi Kshatriya Samaj is a cultured and hardworking society. Necessary steps will be taken on various suggestions given by the society.

Chief Minister Chouhan was discussing with the delegation of Sirvi Kshatriya Samaj, Diwan Haridas Ji Smarak Trust, Maheshwar of district Khargone at Samatva Bhavan Chief Minister’s residence today. The delegation included Trust President Laxman Kag, General Secretary Dilip Patel, Treasurer Govind Septa and other officials.

The delegation urged Chief Minister Chouhan for the development of the memorial of the tenth religious leader of the society, Shri Haridas ji, located near Narmada Bank near Maheshwar at Narsingh Tekri. Sirvi Samaj is a follower of “I Panth”. Devi Ahilya Bai had built a canopy (samadhi) of Shri Haridas ji, the tenth religious leader of I Panth. This tomb is the center of faith of Sirvi Samaj living across the country including Madhya Pradesh. .

Chief Minister Chouhan assured the delegation that necessary works would be completed by sanctioning funds for the development of this faith center of Sirvi society. The trust will also be supported for the installation of the statue of the religious teacher.
