Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav today after assuming the charge issued order for using loudspeakers/DJ, etc, in religious and other places as per the norms.

Also the orders is to set up patrol teams in all districts to check noise pollution and illegal use of loudspeakers, etc.

The Madhya Pradesh government has decided that sound amplifiers (loud speakers/DJ) etc. can be used in any kind of religious place or other place as per the prescribed standards. 

The state government will form patrols in all districts to check noise pollution and illegal use of loud speakers etc. 

The state government has taken this decision in accordance with the provisions of the Madhya Pradesh Noise Control Act, Noise Pollution (Regulation and Control) Rules 2000 at religious and other places in Madhya Pradesh.

And the guidelines issued by the Supreme Court and the High Court from time to time in this regard. 

Under this order, unauthorized use of loudspeakers and other sound amplifying devices in loud voice against the rules is completely prohibited. 

In order to check noise pollution and illegal use of loud speakers etc., flying squads in all districts will conduct regular and random inspections of religious and public places where sound amplifiers are used.

In case of violation of rules, the investigation report in this regard will be submitted to the concerned authorities within maximum 3 days.

The officers nominated by the district administration, in-charges of the respective police stations and officers nominated by the Madhya Pradesh Pollution Control Board will be members of the flying squads. 

The nodal officer in the district will be an additional district magistrate level officer, who will be nominated by the district collector.

The efforts will be made to remove loudspeakers based on communication and coordination with religious leaders. 

By making a list of such religious places where these rules and instructions are not being complied with, instructions have been given to make the weekly review and compliance report available to the Home Department by December 31 at that level. 

Additional Director General of Police (Criminal Investigation Department) has been appointed as Nodal Officer at Police Headquarters for continuous monitoring of noise pollution cases. 

The nodal officer will submit a report to the government from time to time regarding the illegal use of loud speakers, DJ etc. The detailed guidelines have been issued by the Home Department in this regard.
