Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav chaired a maiden meeting attended by Deputy Chief Ministers Jagdish Devda and Rajendra Shukla.

Various decisions were taken in the meeting including to identify and upgrade the government colleges to ‘Prime Minister College of Excellence’.

Yadav said these excellence colleges will disseminate education in all the courses as per the new education policy.

The selection of 52 colleges will be done and will be open in the coming academic session.

There will be facility of buses for transportation of the students of these college of excellence, he said.

These colleges will run the courses of post graduate level, he said.

He said the marksheet/degree of students in all the universities including private universities of the state will be uploaded in DigiLocker.

This facility will help the students to get their documents easily as often the students have to face difficulty in getting it , he said.

Another it will facilitate to verify the degree, markesheet documents, he said.

The DigiLocker facility will be available in 16 government universities and 52 private universities, the decision to this regard is taken in the meeting.
