Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan and Union Minister of State for Skill Development and Entrepreneurship Rajeev Chandrashekhar has inaugurated Rural Tribal Technical Training on Friday.

Sports and Youth Welfare, Technical Education, Skill Development and Employment Minister Yashodhara Raje Scindia, National General Secretary BL Santosh, MP VD Sharma and National President Janjatiya Morcha (tribal front) Samir Oraon will also participate in the programme to be held in Kushabhau Thakre Auditorium.

Managing Director, Crisp Dr. Shrikant Patil informed in collaboration with the Ministry of Skill and Entrepreneurship and National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC), “Parliamentary Sankul Project” is being launched for tribal youths. In this project technical training will be provided to the rural tribal youths. He said that this training programme is being conducted first in Madhya Pradesh on an experimental basis. After successful operation of this pilot project in Madhya Pradesh, this project will be implemented all over India.

About 250 beneficiaries from 17 clusters of selected 17 districts from 6 states of India namely Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Gujarat, Rajasthan, Maharashtra and Odisha will take part in the first phase on an “Experimental Project”.

A two-day conference of 40 MPs was held in Mumbai to discuss regarding increasing employment opportunities in tribal areas.

In this, the work done in the tribal areas and the schemes of NABARD were presented through various subject and policy mediums.

In the last two years, after in-depth discussion on this subject, discussions with experts, scheduled tribe organisations, the idea of​​’Parliamentary Scheduled Tribal Cluster Development Project’ was presented and a plan was prepared to start it.

For the implementation of this scheme, 49 groups have been selected from 15 states of India by 40 tribal MPs of Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha.
