A Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) official was killed while one more other staff harmed during a trade of fire with Maoists in Bastar’s Bijapur locale on Saturday, authorities said.
The occurrence occurred at Timmapur in the area when a group of the 168th regiment of CRPF was out for protecting a development work, said administrator of police, Bijapur, Kamalochan Kashyap said.

“Associate Commandant, S B Tirkey endured shot wounds and later, surrendered to wounds while other CRPF work force supported wounds in the experience,” said the SP adding that the brushing activity is as yet in progress.

On Friday, a specialist and a laborer of a private development organization occupied with the structure of a scaffold over a waterway was stole by Maoists in Bijapur.
