Head of the Army Staff (COAS) General MM Naravane introduced the ‘President’s Colors’, famously called Nishan in Army speech, to four parachute units – 11 PARA (Special Forces), 21 PARA (Special Forces), 23 PARA and 29 PARA – during a Color Presentation Parade held at the Parachute Regiment Training Center in Bengaluru on February 23.

The President’s Colors is the most elevated honor presented to a tactical unit in acknowledgment of outstanding assistance.
