Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has instructed that the inner premises of Lord Shri Mahakaleshwar Temple should be given a divine look.

Along with this, it should be ensured that the cleanliness of the temple and Shri Mahakal Mahalok premises should be better than that of Indore and normal darshan should not be obstructed due to VIP darshan.

The CM said that the laser shows to be prepared in the first and second phase of Shri Mahakal Mahalok should be made so attractive that people may stop to watch it.

CM Chouhan was reviewing the works of the second phase of Shri Mahakal Mahalok, which is being prepared at a cost of Rs. 778 crore 86 lakh, in Ujjain on Wednesday.

Golden opportunity to make Ujjain’s image popular in the world in January-2023

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that Shri Mahakal Mahalok Project is getting popular day by day. A rare opportunity to add to this popularity and popularize the image of Ujjain worldwide is coming in January-2023. Taking advantage of this opportunity, we have to popularize the image of Ujjain in America, England along with other European countries.

The CM said that in January 2023, Madhya Pradesh is getting the opportunity to host the Pravasi Bharatiya Sammelan, Global Investors Summit and the programme chaired by the members of G-20 countries in Indore. On this occasion, a large number of foreign delegates, country’s industrialists and friends of media are interested in visiting Shri Mahakal Mahalok of Ujjain besides Indore. We have to create a new image of Ujjain regarding service, dedication and the tradition of hospitality here, so that people may go back and discuss positively about Ujjain and inspire people to come to Shri Mahakal Mahalok. For this, he himself will create environment by discussing with public representatives and intellectuals.

Collector Ashish Singh told that after the completion of the first phase of Shri Mahakal Mahalok, the work of the second phase is being done at a fast pace. Most of the works will be completed by June 2023. He informed about the works to be done in the second phase.
