Madhya Pradesh Chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that the government will constantly work for the welfare of the general public, strengthen the law and order system, and control social evils like drugs. It is the endeavor of the state government that people get the benefit of the development programs and can bring about a change in their lives. He said that Ladli Bahna Yojana will work to change the economic condition of the lower-middle class and poor. The Chief Minister was addressing the Vikas Yatra at Shaheed Hemu Kalani Stadium in Sant Hirdaram Nagar today.

During the yatra, Chouhan announced to start a government college in the Sant Hirdaram Nagar area from the next academic session after getting information that there was no government college in the area between Lalghati to Phanda.

The Chief Minister also unveiled the statue of immortal martyr Hemu Kalani.

Chouhan also performed bhoomi-pujan of development works worth Rs 218 crore in Sant Hirdaram Nagar during the Vikas Yatra. He said that with the construction of houses in the Bhauri area, the poor will get pucca houses to live in. The construction of a flyover at Phatak Road in Sant Hirdaram Nagar at Rs 23 crore will remove traffic congestion in the area and save the time and energy of the citizens.

Camps will be set up to give pattas to the displaced

Chouhan said that the displaced Sindhis will be given land ownership rights. Concessional rates of premium are being duly fixed for providing pattas by setting up camps. According to this, pattas will be given on a premium of one percent instead of 5 percent fixed earlier up to 150 square meters of land, and at a two percent premium instead of 10 percent from 150 square meters to 200 square meters. Apart from this, work will be done to provide pattas to the poor in other categories except for the catchment area of ​​Bhojtal. Chouhan went amid the common people and addressed them and also interacted with them.

Hemu Kalani has become a source of inspiration for the youth

Unveiling the statue of immortal martyr Hemu Kalani in Sant Hirdaram Nagar, Chief Minister Chouhan said that Hemu Kalani, who laid down his life for the country at a very tender age (when he was under 20), deserves to be revered. The Chief Minister said that by worshiping the martyrs, the countrymen get an inspiration of patriotism. Hemu Kalani became a source of inspiration for the youth by becoming a martyr in the holy land of Sindh for the freedom of the country. His martyrdom will always be remembered. Sant Hirdaram is also respected by everyone here.

Ladli Bahna Yojana will change the economic condition of women

Chief Minister Chouhan said that application forms will be filled from March 5 under Ladli Bahna Yojana. Forms of sisters will be filled by organising camps at ward, panchayat and village level. Under the scheme, 1000 rupees will be given every month in the account of sisters belonging to lower, middle class and poor class. Women from families with annual income up to Rs 2.5 lakh will get the benefit of the scheme. Farmer families are being given 6 thousand rupees by the Prime Minister and 4 thousand rupees by the state government. Shri Chouhan said that the Ladli Bahna scheme is close to my heart. The aim is to improve the financial condition of the sisters. The Chief Minister said that no one would need to wander anywhere to take advantage of this scheme. Work will be done by setting up camp. People’s representatives, social workers and administration people will go door to door. After examining the applications, money will be started pouring into the accounts of the sisters from the month of June.

Many development works will be undertaken in Huzur area

Chief Minister Chouhan said that many development works will be completed in Huzur area also. Also all the legitimate works in the area will be done. Execution of works including tap water supply from home to home, arrangements for medical and engineering education in Hindi, closure of liquor ahatas after March 31, harshest punishment for criminals and those who keep an evil eye on daughters and sisters and better implementation of various schemes will go on continuously. The Chief Minister said that MLA Shri Rameshwar Sharma deserves congratulations for implementing the development works in Huzur area.

Member of Parliament Sadhvi Pragya Singh Thakur said that Chief Minister Chouhan is dedicated to the progress of the state. Due to the sensitive work being done by him under his leadership, citizens are getting many facilities not only in this area but in the entire state. Initiative has been taken to give land in Acharpura for textile mill. Now the general public is getting to know what is called development. Schemes worth crores of rupees are being implemented. The state government has done the work of providing assistance to the daughters from birth to their education and marriage in the state.

MLA Huzur Rameshwar Sharma said that the general public is grateful to the government for the development works. Many development works are to be inaugurated by Chief Minister Chouhan in the near future. Shri Sharma told that the work of construction of five and a half thousand houses has started. Initiative has been taken for the expansion of Sant Hirdaram Nagar. Bhauri will become a sub township. No one’s shop will be uprooted due to the construction of ROB. The bridge was not yet built after independence. Drinking water is provided everywhere, six lane road, making the city free from the problem of division into two parts through construction of double decker flyover, development of educational facilities and smooth traffic be it in Sant Hirdaram Nagar or rural areas.

Development works started today

Apart from the unveiling of the statue of Martyr Hemu Kalani ji in Sant Hirdaram Nagar today, the works that started include Bhoomi Poojan of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana houses to be built at a cost of Rs 195 crore in Bhauri and Gate Road at a cost of Rs 23 crore. Bhoomi-pujan is included for the construction work of the fly over bridge. A flyover will be constructed from Kalka Chauraha to 3 EME Center. Its length is 765 meters and width is 12 meters. ROB will be ready this year itself. A large number of corporators, public representatives and common citizens including Dr. Dharmendra, Shri Sumit Pachauri, Shri Kishan Suryavanshi, Shri Sushil Vaswani, Shri Rajesh Hingorani, Shri Vishnu Gehani, Shri Sabu Rizhwani, Shri Basant Chellani were present in the programmr.
