While Guna RTO, Municipality CMO suspended for negligence

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav rushed the district hospital Guna immediately after he got the news of bus accident and met the families of the deceased passengers and those injured the accident that occurred near Bajranggarh while the bus was en-route from Guna to Aaron.

Some 13 persons charred to death and 14 injured in a bus collusion with dumper in Guna district.

Dr. Mohan Yadav said that financial assistance of Rs 4 lakh each will be provided to the families of those died in the accident and Rs 50 thousand each to the seriously injured.

Yadav ordered transfers of state transport commissioner Sanjay Kumar Jha, district collector Tarun Rathi and superintendent of police Vijay Khatri.

He ordered suspension of Guna’s District Regional Transport Officer Ravi Barelia and Guna’s Chief Municipal Officer BD Katroliya for their negligence and not providing fire brigade services immediately after the accident.

He prayed the God for granting peace to the departed souls and give strength to bereaved families to bear the loss.

Yadav met the families of the injured passengers and inquired about the condition of the passengers who received burn injuries.

He gave instructions to hospital authorities for treatment and prayed the Almighty for speedy recovery of the injured.

Yadav said that the government and administration will ensure all arrangements for the treatment of the injured.

Yadav met every person receiving treatment in the ward of District Hospital Guna and apprised himself about their status wishing them speedy recovery.

MP Dr. K.P. Yadav, MP Dr Rodmal Nagar, MLA Guna Pannalal Shakya, Dharmendra Singh Sikarwar and people’s representatives were present.

On the instructions of Chief Minister Dr. Yadav, Collector Guna Tarun Rathi has constituted a four-member investigation committee under the chairmanship of Additional District Magistrate Mukesh Kumar Sharma to probe the causes of the bus accident.

Guna’s Sub-Divisional Officer Dinesh Savle, Divisional Deputy Transport Commissioner Arun Kumar Singh and Assistant Engineer Electrical Safety Pran Singh Rai will be the members of the investigation committee.

This committee will submit the investigation report in three days.

Dr. Mohan Yadav said that the Guna incident is sad and heart-rending. Orders have been given to investigate the causes of the accident.

Whoever is responsible will not be spared, he said.

We will try to ensure that such an incident does not happen again. We are with the families of all the deceased in this hour of grief, he said.

We extend our sympathies to those injured, he said.

MP Pradesh Congress Committee chief Jitendra Patwari (Jitu) posted on X alleged BJP’s jungle raj swallowed 13 innocent lives. The bus which met with an accident in Guna and 13 people burnt to death, its fitness had ended in 2022. Tax was also not deposited, the insurance of the bus had also expired in 2021 itself.
