The slogan of ‘Har Aangan Yoga’ should be the life mantra of every family and individual.

Yoga instructor Mangala Swamy said this year the theme of International Yoga Day was “Yoga for Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam”, thus drawing inspiration from it a common slogan of ‘Har Aangan Yoga’ is coined to keep the body healthy of each member of family and individual.

On the occasion of International Yoga Day at the MP government owned State Forest Research Institute (SFRI) yoga exercises was carried under instructor Mangala Swamy as per the protocol issued by the Department of AYUSH, Government of India. Earlier the yoga practice was organized under the aegis of Sahaj Yoga Jabalpur.

State Forest Research Institute director Amitabh Agnihotri and employees of the Institute and their family members alongwith many residents from nearby colony to the Institute participated in it.

Mangala Swamy said Yoga practice of 45 minutes from normal yoga exercises should be practiced by the individual to keep the body healthy.

The participants performed various asanas including Tadasana and standing postures.

The participants were made to practice Bhadrasan, Vajrasan-Virasan, Ardha Ustrasan, Shashankasan, Uttan Mandukasan, Marichyasan-Vakrasan in sitting postures.

The yoga instructor also informed the participants about different kind of asanas like Setubandhasana, Uttanpadasana, Ardha Halasana, Pawanmuktasana and Shavasana these asanas are done while lying on the back.

The participants also practiced Nadishodhan, Anulom Vilom Pranayama, Sheetali Pranayama and Bhramari Pranayama under Kapalbhati and Pranayama. The yoga practice session ended with meditation, resolution and peace lesson.
