Union Minister for Home and Cooperatives Amit Shah on Sunday said that with the development and use of own language, India will go a long way in the field of research in the world.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi speaks in Hindi on global forums, he said.

In the education policy, priority is being given to Hindi and other Indian languages ​​in primary, technical and medical education, he said.

Today, Shah said in Madhya Pradesh, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has fulfilled this resolve of Prime Minister Modi by starting medical studies in Hindi.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah today launched MBBS first year books in Hindi language and a new project of establishment of Hindi by pressing the remote button at Lal Parade Ground.

He released Hindi books on Medical Biochemistry, Medical Physiology and Anatomy.

He lit the lamp and garlanded the pictures of Lord Dhanvantari and Maa Saraswati.

Chief Minister Chouhan welcomed the Union Home Minister Shah by offering him Anga Vastra and presented him the statue of Maa Saraswati as a memento.

Union Home Minister Shah said that this day will be written in golden letters in the history of education.

The launch of medical education in Hindi language is a day of reconstruction in the field of education.

For this, Prime Minister Modi and Chief Minister Chouhan deserve congratulations. Engineering and polytechnic education will also be started in Hindi after 6 months in Madhya Pradesh.

In addition, arrangement for research in Hindi language will also be made.

Union Home Minister Shah said that the thinking process of the child takes place in his mother tongue. Whatever is said in mother tongue goes to the heart whereas what is said in the other language goes to the mind. Along with thinking, the process of revision, research, reasoning, analysis and arriving at a decision takes place in the mother tongue.

He said due to the education of children and research in the mother tongue, the students of India will bring laurels in the whole world.

Union Home Minister Shah said the British did ‘wealth drain’ in the 19th century, in the 21st century they brought the’ brain drain’ theory.

Prime Minister Modi is now converting this theory into the theory of ‘brain gain’. Studying in the mother tongue will enhance the thinking, reasoning and research abilities of the students, he said.

Students will be able to do true service to the country only if they study in their own language, he said.

Union Home Minister Shah said today arrangements have been made to conduct JEE, AEET, UGC examinations in 12 languages ​​in India.

Work has been started for conducting CUET exam in 13 languages ​​and engineering exam in Indian languages ​​in 10 states. Sign-language is being standardized, he said.

Studying in Hindi will boost the intellectual capacity of the students and free them from linguistic inferiority complex. He said that language and intellectual ability are not related. Language is a means of expression. Education in mother tongue enhances intellectual ability, he said.

In the year 2013-14, the number of medical colleges in India was 387, which has increased to 596 today. The number of medical seats has increased from 51 thousand to 89 thousand. ITI seats have increased from 16 thousand to 23 thousand, IIM from 13 thousand to 20 thousand, triple IIT seats have increased from 9 thousand to 25 thousand and total universities have increased from 723 to 1043, Union Home Minister Shah said.

Union Minister Shah said that Prime Minister Modi has done a great job by taking a pledge to provide technical and medical education to the country in the mother tongue. Translation of books on these subjects in 8 languages ​​has started in the country.

Along with education, research and development in the mother tongue in medical and engineering fields will also be encouraged. Successful implementation of three language system has been done in Madhya Pradesh under the leadership of Chief Minister Chouhan, he said.

The system of education in mother tongue will pave the way for the revolution of equality in the country.

Chief Minister Chouhan said today is a historic day. With the inspiration of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah has ushered in a new dawn. Studying subjects like medical, engineering etc, in Hindi will be a new light in the education world.

It is the day of liberation from the slavery of the English. This work should have been done soon after independence, but is being done now under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Chief Minister Chouhan said that many of our students used to go to medical and engineering colleges to study, but due to English language being the medium of instruction, they could not study properly.

Some people used to drop out in the middle of the session. Many of our backward, downtrodden, poor students used to suffer from inferiority complex over language. Now they will be able to develop their full potential by studying in Hindi language, he said.

Chief Minister Chouhan said that Prime Minister Modi has changed the mindset of India.

People have attained freedom from English language. Now students will be able to take education in Hindi and their mother tongues, he said.

Chief Minister Chouhan said that while translating medical books into English in Madhya Pradesh, full care has been taken that the language should not become difficult.

Technical terms have been kept in English only. The language has been made practical. The merit list of the students who will study in Hindi will also be prepared separately, he said.

IIT and IIM education also now in Hindi

Chief Minister Chouhan said that now doctors will be able to use Hindi in writing prescriptions.

They can write Srihari in place of Rx on the prescription. This is the beginning of a new era. Today’s day will be written in golden letters in the history of the state. Engineering and polytechnic education will also start in Hindi in the next 6 months in the state. IITs and IIMs will also teach in Hindi, Chouhan said.

All the districts of the state, all medical colleges and educational institutions virtually participated in this state level program. A short film was screened on the development of Hindi curriculum in medical science.

The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi has hailed the commencement of medical education in Hindi at Bhopal. Modi tweets this historic move will empower lakhs of students to study medicine in their own language and bring about a positive change in the country. He further added that it will open multiple doors of opportunities for the students.
