In keeping with this glorious tradition of Sanatan culture, a wonderful and grand temple of Ashta Mahalakshmi has been built in Jaurasi of Gwalior district.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav took part in the Pran Pratishtha of Ashta Mahalakshmi in Jaurasi.

After offering prayers at the famous Jaurasi Hanuman Temple and Ashta Mahalakshmi Temple, he prayed for the progress and prosperity of the state. Assembly Speaker Narendra Singh Tomar also participated in the Pran Pratishtha programme.

Gwalior – There are grand temples of Bhagwan Shanidev and Surya Dev in Chambal region. It is necessary to have a temple of Mahalakshmi for balance and peace. This wish of the residents in this region has now been fulfilled. In the newly constructed grand temple in Jaurasi, the idols of Adi Lakshmi i.e. Mahalakshmiji along with eight forms of Lakshmi i.e. Dhan Lakshmi, Dhanya Lakshmi, Gaja Lakshmi, Santana Lakshmi, Veer Lakshmi, Bhagya Lakshmi, Vijay Lakshmi and Vidya Lakshmi have been installed.

Addressing a large number of devotees present at the Ashta Mahalakshmi Pran Pratishtha ceremony, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the Ashta Mahalakshmi Temple is known for its grandeur and splendor not only in the state but the country has been built in Jaurasi. Its architecture is captivating and peaceful.

He said that Jaurasi is an area of ​​religion and spirituality.

Certainly this area will be established as a major center of religious tourism.

He said that the Ashta Mahalakshmi temple built in Jaurasi will bring happiness in the lives of the people.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the government has constituted a Cabinet sub-committee to establish the importance of old temples.

Under the direction of this committee, temples from across the state will be listed and their importance will be established by renovating and beautifying them with the help of endowment, revenue and tourism departments.

Ashta Mahalakshmi Temple in Jaurasi has been constructed by Shri Hanumanji Temple Jaurasi Trust at a cost of approximately Rs 14 crore.

The temple has been built with the money offered at the country’s famous Jaurasi Hanuman Temple.

The residents of Gwalior region were waiting for the Ashta Mahalakshmi Temple since a very long time.

President of Shri Hanumanji Temple Jaurasi Trust Suresh Chaturvedi, Secretary Prem Singh Bhadauria, Kaushal Sharma, Lokendra Parashar, Virendra Jain and other public representatives, officials of Jaurasi Temple Trust and a large number of devotees were present in the Pran Pratishtha programme of Ashta Mahalakshmi in Jaurasi.
