Help desks will be set-up at railway stations like Itarsi and Narmadapuram to help passengers in distress.

The state government will provide a budget for setting-up the help desk.

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav gave instructions for this while reviewing the law and order situation of Narmadapuram division today.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav directed to work in co-ordination with GRP and Madhya Pradesh Police to prevent crimes taking place at railway stations.

Narmadapuram MLA Dr. Sita Sharan Sharma, Pipariya MLA Thakurdas Nagvanshi, Suhagpur MLA Vijaypal Singh, Seoni Malwa MLA Prem Shankar Verma and Divisional Commissioner Bhopal Division and Narmadapuram Dr. Pawan Sharma, Inspector General of Police Narmadapuram Irshad Wali, Collector and Superintendent of Police of Narmadapuram, Betul and Harda districts and other senior officers were present in the meeting.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav instructed Director General of Police Shri Sudhir Saxena to expedite the process of promotion and handing over charge of higher posts in Police, Home Guard and Jail Department.

He also reviewed the proceedings of re-delimitation and rationalization of police stations.

Inspector General of Police Irshad Wali said that action has been taken and its gazette notification has also been made. Inspector General of Police Wali also said that there has been a steady decline in crimes in the districts of Narmadapuram division.

On the use of loudspeakers at religious places, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that temporary permission should be given in this regard.

He also sought information on the cleanliness campaign in Narmadapuram division.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the Superintendents of Police of all the districts should ensure that blasts incident like Harda is not repeated.

He said that strict action should be taken against those involved in heinous crimes, such criminals should be identified and their bail should be cancelled.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav instructed senior police officers to conduct surprise inspection of their respective subordinate offices. He said that every possible effort should be made to stop crimes against women.
