Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that no stone should be left unturned in benefitting the beneficiaries and solving their problems through the Vikas Yatra which will run from February 5 to February 25 in the state. Officers of the concerned departments should also be present in the yatra along with the public representatives. The Vikas Yatra should be well organized. Chief Minister Chouhan was addressing people’s representatives and district officials through video conferencing from Chief Minister’s residence office tonight. Medical Education MinisterVishwas Sarang was present on the occasion. Other Ministers, MLAs, public representatives and district officials were virtually present in the video conferencing.

Chouhan said that I am happy to inform that good innovations have been made in some districts. He praised the innovations being done in Guna, Mandla, Rajgarh, Sehore, Sheopur, Jhabua, Indore, Narmadapuram, Jabalpur, Shahdol, Ratlam and Katni districts. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that this Vikas Yatra is not just a ritual but a campaign to change the lives of the people. In Vikas Yatra, distribution of acceptance letters, giving benefits to the beneficiaries of various schemes, as well as visiting hostels and anganwadis, talking to children. The common people have to be connected in maximum numbers. No eligible person should be deprived of the benefits. There is a good response to the Vikas Yatra at many places. Where there is deficiency in the arrangements, better development journey should be taken out by improving them.

Chouhan said that the development journey is the topmost priority for me. Make it meaningful. Songs should be played through audio-video. So far, 46 thousand 300 villages have been included in the Yatra route in 230 Vidhansabhas of the state. So far 553 crores have been inaugurated and 502 crores Bhumi Pujan has been done. Public applications are also being received, which should be resolved 100 percent. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that the Vikas Yatra should be made interesting and useful. I will also come to join the development journey from time to time. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that the Minister in-charge should review the Vikas Yatra daily and send the report to me. May the public be happy with this visit.

Chouhan said that the work of bringing water to every house is going on. After the completion of the group drinking water scheme, irrigation schemes, worship the urn and also inform the villagers about the schemes. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that it is praiseworthy to do constructive work during the yatra. Ladli Bahna Yojana and PESA Act should be discussed in every village.

Chouhan said that keep on innovating with enthusiasm in the journey of development. Publicize the enthusiasm that is being seen among the sisters due to the Ladli Bahna Yojana. Every day publicity should be done through print, electronic and social media. People’s curiosity towards travel increased. Try to involve celebrities in the yatra and encourage public participation. There should be better communication between the public and the beneficiaries. The journey should be made curious and multifaceted. Collectors should review the Vikas Yatra every day at their level. Every three days, I will also review the development journey through video conference.
