Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that Ladli Bahna Yojana is in discussion everywhere, it has proved to be an important step towards women empowerment, it will be recorded in history as a social revolution.

Women have taken advantage of the scheme and started their own work and are moving towards economic independence.

Chief Minister Chouhan addressed the officers and employees who played an important role in the planned implementation of Ladli Bahna Yojana at Samatva Bhawan and also gave them citations.

Implementation of the scheme with zero defects, amazing achievement by officers and employees

Chief Minister Chouhan said that the government staff has created a revolution by implementing such a big scheme without any hindrance and with zero defects in a short time, this is an amazing achievement.

The teamwork of Team Madhya Pradesh cannot be praised enough. Working on a war footing and adding 1 crore 31 lakh sisters in just 75 to 80 days is a proof of the commitment of the officers and employees.

No eligible woman was deprived of the benefits of the scheme, the scheme was implemented without a lot of complaints, this shows their sensitivity, he said.

Ladli Bahna Yojana, the next step in the process of women empowerment

Chief Minister Chouhan said that the process of women empowerment started with the implementation of Ladli Laxmi Yojana. We had decided that every daughter born in the state should be a lakhpati.

It was with this thought that Ladli Laxmi Yojana was started, now there are 46 lakh Ladli Laxmis in the state, he said.

Ladli Laxmi Yojana and Kanya Vivah Yojana brought change in the thinking of considering the daughter as a burden, he said.

To empower women, they were given reservation in local bodies and services, he said.

Schemes for exemption in stamp duty in the name of women, registry and financial assistance before and after the birth of a son or daughter were implemented.

Ladli Bahna Yojana is the next step in the process of women empowerment.

Objective of the scheme is to improve the standard of living of women and increase their respect.

Chief Minister Chouhan said that financial assistance of Rs 1,000 to women of Baiga, Bharia and Sahariya communities was started from the year 2017.

The study of the effectiveness of this scheme revealed the fact that the malnutrition level of children has improved with the financial assistance.

As a result, the idea emerged that providing assistance to all needy women would improve their standard of living and also increase the respect of women.

Ladli Bahna Yojana was started with the aim of providing assistance to all women without any caste distinction.
