Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that Sanskrit is the world language. Mother of other languages. Scientific language. Maharishi Patanjali Sanskrit Sansthan has proved that Sanskrit is not just a language of rituals but a language of science. Everything can be done better and better by studying Sanskrit. 

He said that Maharishi Patanjali Sanskrit Sansthan is continuously becoming successful with its works. 

Chouhan was inaugurating the new building “Sanskrit Bhavanam” of Maharishi Patanjali Sanskrit Sansthan on Monday.

Culture Minister Usha Thakur, President Maharshi Patanjali Sansthan Bharatdas Bairagi, Chairman Madhya Pradesh Yoga Commission Ved Prakash Sharma, Chairman Municipal Corporation Bhopal were present in the programme. Kishan Suryavanshi, Principal Secretary School Education Rashmi Arun Shami, Commissioner Public Education Abhay Verma along with officials of the institute, teachers, students and citizens were present.

Chouhan said that India is a great nation. India is once again getting established on the post of Vishwa Guru. Our sages had given the message to the world to “treat everyone as one’s own and one family”. He said that a strategy will be made for the development of Sanskrit language up to the district and block level. 

Chouhan said that Yoga of India has spread in the world. Our country will show the way to the whole world. This building of the institute will be successful in showing a new direction to the whole country.

Chouhan honored Chand Kiran Saluja for his invaluable contribution to the institute. Also released text books of Sanskrit. He also honored the meritorious students. The Chief Minister transferred the amount to the accounts of the students. He gave away certificates to the students who got selected in various companies. Announced the establishment of professorial chairs for research and studies at 5 places in the state.

President Bharat Das Bairagi said that this institute is proving useful in the society. According to the vision of CM Chouhan, the institute is working with great enthusiasm. The curriculum is implemented to make a self-dependent student. Vedic maths along with modern maths is included in the curriculum. The work of teaching skills is also going on. Sanskrit has an important contribution for self-reliant India. Sanskrit is the language to connect the society and bind the nation in one thread. Yoga, Astrology, Astronomy and Socially useful courses are included by the institute.

Chouhan inaugurated the program by lighting the lamp in front of the pictures of Maa Saraswati and Maharishi Patanjali. The guests were honored with mementos and bouquets. In the program, a glimpse of the work done by the state government in the last two years for the institute was displayed. Director Maharishi Patanjali Sanskrit Sansthan proposed vote of thanks.
