Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that a centre dedicated to the study, teaching and research of Sanskrit language will be established in Rewa to be named after Maharshi Panini, the author of Ashtadhyayi Granth and Sanskrit grammarian.

This centre will be expanded in future. CM Chouhan gave this instruction in the meeting of Higher Education Department held at Samatva Bhawan. Chief Secretary Iqbal Singh Bains, Additional Chief Secretary Higher Education KC Gupta and other officers were present in the meeting.

CM Chouhan directed to start immediate action for the establishment of Maharshi Panini Centre.
