Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that the Global Investors’ Summit to be held in Indore on January 11 and 12, 2023, will help in investment in new industry sectors.

As a result of all such summits held in the past, investment came in the state and a large number of needy people got work. It is now about three and a half months for the summit.

Before the summit, work is being done to put many concrete and serious proposals for investment on the ground.

The target of rapid growth in economic activities is being fulfilled due to the development of industries in the state. New investment proposals should be implemented at a fast pace by the Department of Industrial Policy and Investment Promotion.

It was informed in the meeting that Chief Minister Chouhan will hold meetings with CEOs of various establishments, heads of industrial institutions and office bearers on October 20 in New Delhi and on October 21 in Pune. Ambassadors and High Commissioners of various countries will also participate in it. These round table meetings will be important from the point of view of new investment in Madhya Pradesh.

Chief Minister Chouhan was reviewing the preparations for the Global Investors’ Summit at Mantralaya today. Minister for Industrial Policy and Investment Promotion Rajvardhan Singh Dattigaon, Minister for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises O.P. Saklecha and Chief Secretary Iqbal Singh Bains and other officials were present in the meeting.

Pharma Park of Madhya Pradesh

Chief Minister Chouhan said that the initiative for setting up of Bulk Drug Park in Madhya Pradesh is commendable. Necessary steps should be taken after studying the proposal for its establishment with the Indian Drug Manufacturers Association.

Necessary action should be taken to realize the possibilities of setting up a pharma park of Madhya Pradesh state in Malwa region.

Chief Minister Chouhan said that cordial environment has been created for industrial establishment and capital investment in the state.

Presentation of Green Field Airport

Chief Minister Chouhan witnessed a presentation prepared by the Department of Industrial Policy and Investment Promotion regarding International Greenfield Airport and Mega Investment.

It was told in the presentation that in the coming few years, about six lakh youth will get employment opportunities through Greenfield International Airport.
