Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan was paid a courtesy visit in Mantralaya on Monday by the ambassadors of India posted in 4 countries, who are on a visit to Madhya Pradesh.

Chief Minister Chouhan was met by Ambassador of India to Argentina Dinesh Bhatia, Ambassador of Lebanon Suhail Ejaz Khan, Ambassador of Oman Amit Narang and Ambassador of Zimbabwe Vijay Khanduja. Suhail Ejaz Khan belongs to Indore and Amit Narang is from Jabalpur.

Chief Minister Chouhan told the ambassadors that the State Government along with the Ministry of External Affairs is organising Pravasi Bharatiya Diwas.

Madhya Pradesh has got the responsibility of celebrating Pravasi Bharatiya Diwas on 8, 9 and 10 January 2023 in Indore, which is a matter of good fortune.

This will be followed by a two-day Global Investors Summit. Preparations are being made for both these programmes.

Chief Minister Chouhan told the ambassadors that there is a huge production of wheat in Madhya Pradesh. Efforts are being made to export the wheat of the state abroad.

CM Chouhan said that Madhya Pradesh has huge potential in the field of tourism. The cooperation of overseas Indians is also being received in this.

The ambassadors assured Chief Minister Chouhan of maximum cooperation in the development and promotion of Madhya Pradesh in the countries of their responsibility.

The ambassadors invited Chief Minister Chouhan and other ministers to visit Argentina, Lebanon, Oman and Zimbabwe. Principal Secretary, Industrial Policy and Investment Promotion Department Sanjay Kumar Shukla and Principal Secretary to Chief Minister Manish Rastogi were at the meeting.
