CM instructed the home department for removal of Gwalior Inspector General of Police for reaching late at the spot of incident where the poachers killed three cops in Guna district.

The culprits should not be sparred at any cost, he said.

The team of cops reportedly went to the Aron forest area in Guna district after getting information of some poachers were killing black buck when they were near the spot the poachers fired on them in which three cops killed on Friday night.

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan called an emergent meeting and sought details of the incident from the officers about killing of three cops by the poachers in a forest area in Guna district.

He instructed the police should immediately take the strictest action against the culprits guilty of this incident.

The Chief Minister said a detailed inquiry would also be conducted into the incident.

He said the culprits should not be sparred under any circumstances.

He gave martyr status to the deceased cops.

The family members of each deceased cops be given Rs. 1 crore and job in government department to one family member, he instructed the home department.

Home Minister Dr. Narottam Mishra was present in the meeting. Director General of Police Sudhir Saxena virtually attended.

Chouhan said the martyrdom of all the three accomplices of police, Sub Inspector Rajkumar Jatav, Constable Neeraj Bhargava and Constable Santram, who attend martyrdom in this incident, will not be allowed to go in vain.

He said they had sacrificed their life while on duty.

Chief Minister Chouhan said the policemen on duty, who were martyred, should be cremated with respect.

The ministers, public representatives and senior police officers should attend the funeral. Chief Minister Chouhan said our police friends have given martyrdom while fighting poachers. In this incident, such strict action will be taken against the criminals, which will set example for time to come.
