Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan planted saplings of different species in Smart Garden today along with about 100 Ladli Bahnas, residents of different localities of Bhopal city.

CM Chouhan extended Independence Day greetings to the Ladli Bahnas. He not only planted saplings with the sisters, but also inquired about the well-being of their families.

Chief Minister Chouhan asked the sisters, how are the preparations for Rakhi going onAll is well at home.

He said to the Ladli Bahnas “Be happy and make progress.” Ladli Bahnas included Neelam Sharma, Rekha Singh, Kusum Thakur, Kanchan, Shabnam, Aarti Sharma, Farzana, Archana, Gauri, Swati, Sudha Soni, Madhuri Das, Nirmala, Rashida Khan, Uma Chouhan, Swarnalata, Shakuntala, Urmila, Shobha, Jyoti, Kavita, Kiran, Rajni, Rajkumari Sharma, Rajdulari, Rakhi, Maya, Radha Pandey, Anjali, Archana etc. Many social workers also participated in plantation.

Lakshmi Bai, a resident of Banganga Bhopal, who took advantage of the Mukhyamantri Ladli Bahna Yojana, said that Chief Minister Chouhan has given support through this scheme in her difficult times.

An emotional Lakshmi Bai informed the Chief Minister about the financial problems of the family. While interacting with some members of the Ladli Bahna Sena of Bhopal city, the Chief Minister said that he is not the CM, but brother of the Ladli Bahnas.

On August 27, a special programme is being organised to offer gift under the Mukhyamantri Ladli Bahna Yojana. Sisters are looking forward to this programme.

On Rakshabandhan, brother is about to give gifts to his Ladli Bahnas.

Pran Singh Mathur, Sonilal Mathur, Dattaram Kushwaha, Vetal Kushwaha and Ramsevak Kushwaha, associated with natural farming, also participated in plantation.

Along with Chief Minister Chouhan, District Panchayat members of Jabalpur, Satyendra Singh Rajput, Santosh Patel, Mahendra Jain, Amit Sharma, Amit Rajput, President of Scheduled Caste Morcha Singrauli Dilsharan Singh also planted saplings today.
