Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan took part in the conclusion of the seven-day Shrimad Bhagwat Katha of famous Katha Vachika Jaya Kishori in Harda.

At the end of the programme, the Chief Minister blessed the 133 newly married couples who got married under the Mukhyamantri Kanya Vivah Yojana. Among those present in the programme were the Minister for Farmers’ Welfare and Agriculture Development Kamal Patel, Khajuraho MP V.D. Sharma, local MP D.D. Uike, District Panchayat President Gajendra Shah along with public representatives and a large number of devotees.

Chouhan said that the path of devotion, the path of knowledge and the path of action have been mentioned in the scriptures to attain the Almighty. We all can walk on the divine path by doing our work with full dutifulness and honesty without desiring for the result. He said that doctors should treat patients, teachers should educate children and officers and citizens should contribute for the betterment of the society by discharging their duties and responsibilities. This will lead to the welfare of the state.

Chouhan joins bhajan singing on the request of the public.

Chief Minister Chouhan sang with public the bhajans ‘Ram Naam Sukhdayee” and “Hare Ram Hare Ram” on the request of the devotees present at the Katha Sthal.

The audience was mesmerized and were seen dancing to the hymns sung by the Chief Minister.
