Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan tweeted that respected Prime Minister @narendramodi ji has given a big gift to all the sisters of the country on the auspicious occasion of Raksha Bandhan.

He said the decision to cut domestic #LPGcylinder price by Rs 200 for all consumers shows the sensitivity and compassion of the leadership.

This relief will be in addition to the subsidy of ₹ 200 provided in March, 2023 to the beneficiaries of PM Ujjwala Yojana.

Thus, around 10.35 crore sisters will get gas cylinders in ₹ 700, he said. Along with this, approval has also been given to give 75 lakh new LPG connections to sisters under ‘Ujjwala Yojana’, Chouhan said.

I express my heartfelt gratitude to the respected Prime Minister for this unprecedented decision, the chief minister said.
