Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said at the Ladli Bahna Sammelan in Vijaipur development block headquarters of Sheopur district that the country progressed in every field during the 9-year golden tenure of the country’s illustrious Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. Today, under the leadership of Modi, the country has become the king of the world. Prime Minister Modi presented the Cheetah Project at Kuno in Sheopur district.

Chief Minister Chouhan said that Mukhyamantri Ladli Bahna Yojana is a campaign to change the lives of our sisters. They get self-reliance from the scheme. Now she won’t seek monetary support of her husband to go to her maternal home. Sisters will be able to meet the requirements of their children. In this scheme, the amount given to the ladli bahna will be increased to three thousand rupees in a phases. At present, women will get Rs 12,000 in a year, which will be increased to Rs 36,000 in a year.

The Chief Minister told that we are making efforts to increase the income of the sisters. The income of the sisters will be increased to Rs 10,000 per month. The central government is giving 6 thousand rupees annually and the state government is giving 4 thousand rupees in the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi. The amount of the state government has now been increased to Rs 6,000. In this way, now farmers will get an amount of Rs 12 thousand in a year. He said that meritorious students with 70 percent marks in class 12th are being given laptops and toppers in class 12th will be given scooties. He said that on July 4, the Mukhya Mantri Seekho-Kamao Yojana is being launched, in which a monthly stipend of Rs 8,000 will be given to the youth getting training in various companies and factories.

Chief Minister Chouhan said that Ladli Laxmi Yojana has proved to be a boon for daughters. After the scheme, there has been a decrease in the male-female sex ratio in the state. Under the scheme, along with full fees, incentives are also being given by the government to the daughters for their studies. In Sheopur district, development works like Cheeta Project, Munjhari Dam, establishment of Medical College, Chambal Micro Irrigation Project etc. are going on continuously. On the demand of the farmers of Vijaypur region, Bhoomi-pujan of Rs 539 crore major irrigation project Chantikheda Dam has been conducted today. With this, 15 thousand 300 hectare land will be irrigated and 25 thousand population will also get the facility of drinking water. The Chief Minister also inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of development and construction works worth Rs 644 crore 41 lakh.

During the conference, a CCL check of Rs 5 crore 21 lakh was given to 285 self-help groups operating in the Rural Livelihood Mission. Women will be able to use this amount to increase their livelihood. Balika Pari Soni and Rishika Shivhare were given certificates worth Rs one lakh 18 thousand under Ladli Laxmi Yojana.

Union Minister for Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare Shri Narendra Singh Tomar said that Vijaipur, Karahal area was so backward till 2003 that clean drinking water was not available to the people, today potable water is available in every village. The district has got self-reliance in the field of irrigation also. With the construction of canals in 24 village, the irrigation capacity of the farmers has increased. Bhoomi-pujan was done for the Chambal micro-irrigation project and the Munjhari dam project in Baroda region and today Chief Minister Shri Chouhan has come to present the gift of Chantikheda dam to the residents of Vijaypur.

Union Civil Aviation and Steel Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia said that a new history is being created in Sheopur area. Development plans are taking shape. The narrow gauge established by Shri Madho Maharaj I is now being converted into broad gauge at a cost of 3 thousand crores. In the first phase, the work from Gwalior to Sheopur is going on at present. In the second phase, broad gauge will be constructed from Sheopur to Kota.

BJP’s National General Secretary Tarun Chugh termed Chief Minister Shri Chouhan as mama in the entire state as the intimate love and connection between the public and him. He said that Madhya Pradesh is continuously moving forward under the leadership of Shri Chouhan.

Chetna Gupta and Kanika Sharma, who secured 96 and 95 percentile marks respectively in the high school examination, and Bank Sakhi Sushri Saraswati Kushwaha were also felicitated for better DBT work in Ladli Bahna scheme.
