Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan will inaugurate the ‘Mukhyamantri Seekho-Kamao’ scheme on Tuesday, 22 August.

Chief Minister Chouhan will distribute the letters of contract to the youth selected under the scheme at function being organized at Government Mahatma Gandhi Higher Secondary School, BHEL, Bhopal.

Along with the skill development, industry-oriented training and ‘on-the-job training’ will be given to the youth in the age group of 18 to 29 years and who have passed 12th/ITI. The trainee youth will get stipend of Rs 8 to 10 thousand.

The target is to train one lakh youth in employment-oriented skills in the first phase of the ‘Mukhyamantri Seekho-Kamao’ Yojana. As many as 8 lakh 69 thousand 673 youths have registered themselves under the scheme. So far, a total of 16 thousand 450 establishments have announced vacancies for about 68 thousand 984 positions for the registered youth. Under the scheme, the establishments were registered on the portal. The youth are also applying for the vacancies by selecting the courses of thier choice.

About 14 thousand 450 contracts have been generated so far. Mximum 643 contracts have been generated in Bhopal. As many as 640 in Rewa, 560 in Jabalpur, 487 in Damoh, Satna-486, Betul -467, Gwalior- 435, Sagar -418, Indore -414, Chhindwara -398, Khargone -398, Narsinghpur -362, Shivpuri -330, Khandwa -325, Singrauli -320, Dhar -314, Dhar -314, Ujjain -330, Guna -296, Balaghat -293, Shahdol -292, Seoni -289, Chhatarpur -284, Ratlam -276, Mandsaur -270, Raisen -267, Rajgarh -267, Shajapur -257, Morena -251, Bhind -248, Sehore -247, Neemuch -244, Vidisha -235, Sidhi -225, Anuppur -216, Katni -209, Panna -201, Narmadapuram -192, Dewas -188, Agar-Malwa -187, Barwani -167, Umaria -164, Burhanpur -163, Mandla -162, Tikamgarh -160, Jhabua -151, Datia -149, Ashoknagar -147, Harda -124, Dindori -102, Sheopur -83, Niwari -82 and Alirajpur -78 have been generated.
