Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan will participate in various programmes in Singrauli on 26 July. He will inaugurate the Saint Ravidas Samarsata Yatra at Baidhan and lay the foundation and perform bhoomi pujan of Rehand irrigation project and other works under Vikas Parv at Sarai.

Chief Minister Chouhan will inaugurate Saint Shiromani Ravidas Ji’s Samarsata Rath Yatra from Ramlila Maidan at Baidhan at 10 am. He will also honour the Saints who will take part in the yatra. The soil and water of the Ganges from the birthplace of Saint Shri Ravidas ji will be presented by the Saints to Chief Minister Chouhan.

Chief Minister Chouhan will take part in the Mukhyamantri Charan Paduka Yojana sammelan at Government Higher Secondary School premises in Sarai at 12 noon and will distribute benefits to the beneficiaries of various schemes.

Chief Minister Chouhan will lay the foundation /dedicate construction works worth Rs 693 crore 34 lakh which include the foundation laying of Rihand Micro Irrigation Project costing Rs 672 crore 25 lakh, dedication of boundary wall of Government College Devsar auditorium and sports ground of Excellence School Devsar worth Rs 9 crore 90 lakh, dedication of additional room and laboratory building of Government Polytechnic College costing Rs 5 crore 93 lakh and dedication of Madhya Pradesh Rural Road Development Project’s road from Amhara Malgia Dand to Karami built at a cost of Rs 5 crore 36 lakh.
