Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan interacts with the street vendors in a programme tagged ‘Mukhya Mantri ki Baat –Path Vikretao ke Saath’.

He instructed the officials to hold health check up camps for the street vendors at municipal zone or ward level to facilitate them to take benefit of the health services.

Chouhan interacted with the children of the street vendors who made the paintings on various themes including patriotic and others.

Besides he interacted with some street vendors to know how they are benefited from the government welfare schemes.

The street vendors shared their experience with the CM about the benefit they received from the loan scheme of Rs.10000 and Rs. 20000 floated by the government for them during pandemic.

One of the street vendors said on receiving the loan he paid some portion of it to his friend to repay the money borrowed from him and the rest of the amount was spent on purchasing articles to run the business.

Chouhan requested the street vendors who are yet to prepare their Ayushman Card to prepare it soon and during the health check up camp the on-spot facility will be available to prepare the card.

He instructed the officials to prepare the list of street vendors who are yet not taken benefit of the loan scheme.
