Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that in order to ensure the quality of education of the children studying in the schools of the state, the examinations of class 5th and 8th will be conducted on the board pattern in all government recognised non-government and aided schools along with government schools.

Besides, internal assessment will also be ensured regularly in these schools. It is the responsibility of the teachers to shape the future of the children. The way the teachers will shape the children, so will the country and the state be built.

The creators of India’s destiny are the students and the creators of the students are the teachers. Today’s programme has been organised with the aim of honouring and respecting the teachers.

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan was addressing the training programme of newly appointed teachers by the Departments of School Education and Tribal Affairs.

Tribal Affairs Minister Meena Singh Mandve and Minister of State (Independent Charge) for School Education, Inder Singh Parmar were present in the training programme held at BHEL Dussehra Ground, Bhopal. After Saraswati Vandana and Madhya Pradesh Anthem, the programme was inaugurated with the lighting of lamp and Kanya-Poojan by CM Chouhan.

Chouhan also released departmental training policy and guide for maintenance of departmental assets.

Chouhan said that I have imbibed the spirit of “Gururbrahma Gururvishnuh Gururdevo Maheshwarah, Guru Sakshat Parabrahma Tasmai Shree Gurve Namah” since childhood.

The culture of India is the culture of putting into practice the idea of ​​”Guru Govind Dou Khade, Kake Lagoo Paya – Balihari Guru Aapne, Govind Diyo Batay”. Guru is paramount for us.

Chouhan started his address by bowing in honour of the teachers.

He said that the state government would leave no stone unturned to maintain the honour and respect of the teachers.

Teachers are responsible for full development of the talents of the students. Teachers are not servants, they are the Gurus who shape the future of children.

It is the result of their guidance and the education given by them that the individual becomes capable of guiding the society.

Chouhan said that imparting knowledge, skills and values ​​of citizenship are the main objectives of education.

It is the duty of the parents along with the teacher to transfer the accumulated knowledge to the next generation.

Adequate provision has been made in the National Education Policy for skill education. It is most important to give the values ​​of citizenship to the students.

Teachers should take a vow that their students will be patriotic, characterful, honest, dutiful, caring for others, respecting girls and women, respecting parents and helping the helpless.

Chouhan mentioned the practical points of the teaching process through inspirational stories of Swami Vivekananda, Dr. Radhakrishnan and Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar.

Also, sharing the experiences of his own school days, he explained the need to maintain communication by teachers with the parents and community of the students.

Chouhan said that it is necessary to give education to the students in their language. This gives expression to their natural talents. It is necessary to establish the pride of our language. We also have to work towards freeing children from the fear of English. Arrangements are being made to start medical studies in Hindi language in the state.

Chouhan while exhorting the newly appointed teachers to remain positive and dedicated towards discharging their duties said that it is with your efforts that the state will reach the first position in school education in the country.

Referring to the lines of Swami Vivekananda, he said that there is no work in the world that you cannot do.

Chouhan said that it is necessary for the teachers to maintain in ideal conduct. The virtues of being punctual, maintaining cleanliness, always speaking the truth should be expressed in the day-to-day conduct of teachers.

Teachers should innovate and experiment in teaching, do self-study, keep adapting themselves to the changing technology and times. Also, they must stay in constant communication with the parents. Be sure to talk to the parents about the weaknesses and expectations of the children.

Referring to Shrimad Bhagavad Gita, the Chief Minister said that it is necessary for a teacher to treat everyone equally, to be loving, not to be egoistic and to be patient. At the same time, it is necessary to always maintain a sense of enthusiasm towards one’s duty and keep moving forward on the path of duty.

Chouhan congratulated the newly appointed teachers for moving ahead on their path of duty with enthusiasm and positivity.

Chouhan appreciated the teachers for making the school and education process interesting and for connecting the community in the school system and innovating in school education.
